For our first act of kindness, we choose the Pounce Cat Cafe in Charleston SC. We decided to pay the adoption fee for the next cat that is to be adopted.
the Pounce Cat Cafe opened after Meagan passed away, but with her love of cats, we knew she would approve!
Random Act of Kindness submission on-line
message: Today I did my first act of kindness ever because of Meagan! I was going through the drive thru at McDonald’s (which in the moment felt very mundane and lame) and I paid for the meal for the car behind me. I have never done a random act of kindness but I have been on the receiving end once before. I can say that that act of kindness came at the most perfect time and I will never forget the person who did something random for me out of the kindness of their heart. I didn’t know Meagan personally but her mom is a very good friend of mine and she has always spoken of how Meagan was always thinking of others and doing little acts of kindness just because it was part of who she was. I know there are so many people out there that will never forget the things Meagan did for them even if they didn’t know it was her behind the kindness. Today was my first random act of kindness inspired by Meagan and even though it felt small and mundane, it excited me to continue to spread the joy and kindness that she did.
Letter received from Pet Helpers
I received a letter in the mail from Pet Helpers, that a donation was made in the memory of Meagan Alexandria Stockman Wojtusik.
